How to speak english

The white lake is a lake that is located on the "Carretera Austral" from Chile. I captured this picture in 2013, in a camping that had a small hovel with exit to the lake. What I liked most about this picture, is the contrast between the light and the darkness. I remember that day as a cold, very cloudy and rainy day. But towards the end a little piece of sun appeared. It was a travel together with my brother. He listened for the first time - actually in this place - the Beethoven's ninth symphony. Towards the end of the symphony, shuddering whole, he just looked at me with a deeply look, and silently stayed for a long time. It was a very transcendental moment. I remember too that we contemplated this beatiful picture, while we ate or talked. The name "white lake" is because, at dusk, the clouds were reflected in the lake, thus leaving a white lake. We enjoyed the long walks, while we were talking about the life, the world and the meaning of our existenc...

"Yo presiento" it´s my last work inspired by Rilke´s orpheus sonnets. The title arises from a trip that I had together with my father and my brother to south of Chile, in february of this year. In the walks through the beatiful landscapes, my brother repeated over and over a little verse from one of the sonnets: "ich ahne", that means: "I presage". Because of the love I feel for him, and the persistence with which the verse appeared, spontaneously I had the idea to put that title to my work. The night of April 11 I had a revealing dream, and it was another impuls to continue this work: I dreamed that a gigantic tsunami would raze all humanity. But the symbolic of the dram it wasn´t the tragic event per se, but this feeling that the apocalypse in crescendo  was coming. It's as if the world is preparing for its own destruction, and I had to prepare, not to stop the big tragedy, but to embrace it and to face it. "I presage" seek to ev...
